Huolian Station Monthly Selection

Selection and voting rules

• Selected works must be captured at Huolian Remote Observatory.
• Each position may submit one work per month; users cannot withdraw a work after submission.
• Works are collected and displayed by calendar month; works and voting results update in real time.
• Vote weights: users with positive credits receive 10 points, signed-in users without positive credits receive 2 points, and signed-out users receive 1 point; a signed-in user may vote for each work only once for their account lifetime, while a signed-out installation may vote for each work once per day.
• Category boundaries: the “Smart Telescope Category” accepts all types of smart telescopes; the “Small Equipment Category” accepts refractors with an aperture of 102 mm or less (including 102 mm), or Newtonian reflectors with an aperture of 6 inches or less (including 6 inches); all other telescopes belong in the “Large Equipment Category”. Works entered in the wrong category will not pass review.
• Rewards in each category are ranked by points: 1st place receives one free month of rental, 2nd place receives 20 free rental days, and 3rd place receives 10 free rental days.
